New Origional Songs

Posted by Nick Dymond under Site News, Stuff Worth Sharing

I just came across a few songs I recorded years ago and threw them in thd downloads section.

King of the World THIS IS TERRIBLE. It’s a horrible rendition of one of my favorite songs I wrote.

Old With You The song from “The Wedding Singer”

I’m Sorry (chorus) This is just as far as I got on a song I was writing in 2000

I Could Not Ask For More I think it’s Edwin McCain. A long time ago, a certain girl out there wanted me to record this song for her so I did.

Nicknotronic Move This My crappy old keyboard and an electric guitar sporting a WHAH peddle make up this little ditty based on a song from 1992.

You’re a God This is me playing bass to Mark Dusseau singing lead AND harmony to the Vertical Horizon song.

Dashboard vs Brand New

Posted by Nick Dymond under Mashups, Stuff Worth Sharing

I am starting a new catagory on this site. It’s called “Mashups”. If you don’t know, a mashup is a remix of 2 or more songs put together to make a new one. I love mashups. Everytime I stumble across one I will post it here.

The first one is called The Quiet Screaming Dashboard.

(click the song title to download it or just click the play button to listen)

I can’t get enough of these types of remixes because I have always tried to put together 2 songs in my head like this.

Lee Craft Photography

Posted by Nick Dymond under Life in General, Web Design

I haven’t updated this in a while because I have been so busy. I have been working steadily on a new photography site for a client. The site is LeeCraftPhotography.com but it won’t be up for a while.

I started with the logo and personally think it is pretty dang cool.

What she is having me do is put together a slide show for each "Senior Photo" photo shoot she does. It is a Flash slide show presentation to display her work and also it wll give each kid a little movie to show around to their friends. It was pretty daunting at first but I somehow tackled it.

I finished one slide show and decided to make another one using pictures of myself as the subject.

It requires the latest version of Flash player.

This should be one of my coolest projects yet.

I have many web design projects lining up. Hopefully I will be able to throw together a decent portfolio and land me a REAL job doing this and get the heck out of that stupid truck.
