Ryan’s parents own a cabin in a tiny town called Glennie, MI where we often go for weekends of doing nothing. This time, we went up there with George, Leigh Ann & Ben. Here are photos of that occasion.

Well another sucessful retreat occurred last weekend and everyone had a blast. I love these times at camp to hang out and just do nothing important.
There was an official Ladder-Golf tournement that my team won (well, we won the final game for the championship but Andy and Ryan will say that we have to play one more game but I don’t).
We had an awesome band thrown together and it was a million times better than anything we’ve ever done for any retreat ever. Thanks so much to Billy and Phil for helping out we’re all glad you guys could made it.
Ben J. isn’t funny. (I felt this was the best place to let it be known) I know that Leigh Ann likes him but no one else does.
We learned a new game called Psycology and it was fun. It’s not MAFIA, but it was a good time. Speaking of MAFIA… we should sit and talk about it for hours.
Sorry Matt, that we didn’t get to play capture-the-flag. Most of us wanted to but leave it up to some STUPID girls to mess it up for the rest of us.

Ryan and Katie’s annual New Year’s party was a grand time. Mafia was the breakout hit as it was in July. We tried to play Munchkin but there were too many people and it ended up running into the Midnight countdown then then we never went back to it. Andy Pavlik was in town from New York just for the party and Hashi made a special appearance to everyone’s delight. But mostly Mafia happened. Yeah, then we talked about it. Lots.

The budget for Christmas was really tight this year so we decided to take a good photo of ourselves and give it in a frame to people.

This was all done very quickly one evening when we both had a spare moment. We came home, changed our clothes, did our hair/makeup and went into the living room. Actually these were taken in the small hallway off the living room. The camera was set up on the tripod which was sitting atop a box which made it very high pointing down to the floor. Trista is sitting indian style and I am laying on the floor. I didn’t spend much time editing the picture, just ran it through Fireworks to fix the colors a little bit. I’m sure that someone that knows about color fixin’ could have done much better but we were in a huge hurry to get it ready for printing and framing.
